We're glad you're here, and that we can share a bit about who we are, our lives, and our story with you. We are not perfect people, but we do have lots of love and lots of fun.

​After being best friends in high school and dating during college, we were married in 2012! A few years after that, we both finished our undergraduate degrees and began working in our chosen fields (science and education!).

I love being a dad. I especially love seeing Abi grow up and learn who she is. It’s a ton of fun teaching her things like how to dance, run, learn new words, and how to best tickle mommy. It’s the best part of the day when I get time with my girls. I love spending time and making new traditions and thinking about my child’s future. Being a dad teaches me to appreciate the important and simple things in life. Some of my favorite things to do are daddy/daughter dates, playtime, and bedtime stories.

Being a mom is honestly the most fun thing I’ve ever done. I love watching our daughter grow and develop every day. I love seeing the world through her eyes and seeing her discover the world. Some of my favorite things to do with our daughter are to go for walks, chat about our day, and play outside.

I have a Bachelor of Science in History Education and a Master’s in Public Administration, and I am in the process of earning my law degree. While I miss teaching, I love being in law school! I also love to run, eat Twinkies, and drink Dr....

This awesome kid is the light of our lives! She is happy, kind, spunky, and is overall the best. She likes to make art, hang out with mom, and be silly with dad. She loves sparkles and pink and has an immense love for sugar (who doesn't?!). She keeps us laughing, and it's incredible to watch her grow into who she is! We have an open adoption with her biological family, which has looked like sharing pictures, videos, and visits with her birth family. We consistently communicate with each other to see how everyone is doing within the relationship, but mostly, it's...
